Kayla Allen is an English boxer from London and the first female athlete to sign a contract with Zuffa Boxing. She developed through the GB Boxing program and built an impressive amateur record in a short time.

The story

Allen began boxing less than five years before joining Zuffa Boxing. Initially, she trained independently with a homemade punching bag in her garden and studied footage of Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Mike Tyson. After a brief period in white-collar boxing, she joined the GB Boxing programme. In her first year as an amateur, she reached the final of the Senior Elite Championships. She then won gold at the Haringey Box Cup in 2024, the Senior Elite Championships in 2025, the European U23 Championships in 2025, and the Boxam Tournament in La Nucia in 2026. In 2026, Allen became the first female athlete to sign with Zuffa Boxing. Her development is guided by coach Alex Leo.

Allen describes her style as explosive. She partly developed her early boxing technique by independently studying footage of Mayweather and Tyson, after which she built a more formal and complete amateur foundation through GB Boxing.
