Louis Greene, nicknamed The Medway Mauler, is an English professional boxer from Strood in Kent. He became a regional and Commonwealth titleholder after a career in the welterweight and super-welterweight divisions, under the guidance of his father and trainer, John Greene.

The story

Greene made his professional debut in 2015 and built a career in the welterweight and super-welterweight divisions that took him to regional and Commonwealth level. On 26 November 2022, he won the vacant Commonwealth super-welterweight title in Aberdeen by stopping the previously unbeaten Dean Sutherland in the fifth round. On 6 May 2023, he defended the title in Dundee with a TKO victory over Paul Kean. On 21 October 2023, he lost the title on points to Sam Gilley at York Hall in London. Greene had previously challenged for the vacant WBO European welterweight title in 2020. He subsequently recorded, among other results, a first-round knockout against Jack McGann in Riyadh, a TKO victory over Dzmitry Atrokhau in 2025, and a points victory over Daniel Buciuc in Dublin in 2026. Greene has trained throughout his career under the guidance of his father, John, in the Medway and Strood area.
