I am Herman Veenendaal, a trainer at Leon’s Boxing Gym. I started boxing in 1978 at Boks vereniging Hoboken under Aad Westerlaken, guided by trainers Jean-Pierre Houbijn, Dries Sloof, Aad Jansen, and Wim van Klaveren. These trainers coached and trained me, enabling me to become South Holland champion in 1984. I am completing my trainer/coach training in Belgium, graduating in January 2015.
