Fight2Win.nl has something truly special in its hands again: If you think you’ve seen everything when it comes to Boxing gloves, think again.

Unique Di Nardo Boxing gloves, straight from Italy. And yes, we’re talking about those iconic “Worldwide-Line Boxing gloves” by master craftsman Filippo Di Nardo.

Filippo Di Nardo: The Michelangelo of Boxing gloves

In a world where mass production and marketing trends call the shots, there are still very few names that inspire genuine reverence in the world of martial arts. One of them is undoubtedly Filippo Di Nardo. Not a brand, not a trend—but an Italian man of flesh and blood, working with leather and needle.

Craftsmanship Above All

Filippo Di Nardo doesn’t work in a factory. He works in a workshop. Every pair of gloves bearing his name comes from his own hands—literally. No assembly lines, no production assistants, no compromises. Di Nardo is one of the last craftsmen who still understands what it means to build a reputation, stitch by stitch.

His work is steeped in tradition, but also driven by innovation. The construction is classic: hand-stitched leather, firm padding, lace-up closure, and a fit that feels almost surgically precise. But the finesse lies in the details: how the wrist closes, how the foam molds to the hand, how the leather breathes under pressure. No two hands feel the same, so Di Nardo makes every glove to measure. No concessions. No compromises.

Why World Champions Choose Di Nardo

It’s no coincidence that elite fighters swear by Filippo Di Nardo’s gloves. And no, it’s not because he sponsors them—it’s because he turns their wishes into reality. A Di Nardo glove is not a product, but a work of art and an extension of the fighter himself.

Di Nardo works closely with his customers. Personal fittings are not uncommon. Weight, knuckle protection, wrist support, finishing: everything is discussed. The result? A glove that is not only comfortable to wear, but also elevates performance to a higher level. It’s no coincidence that some Boxing gloves look like works of art, yet perform like a weapon.

The Philosophy Behind Perfection

What sets Di Nardo apart is his philosophy. He doesn’t believe in “good enough.” To him, a boxing glove must have character. It must be more than an accessory. In his own words: “A glove must speak for the boxer before he throws a punch.” You can feel it. His gloves have a soul. The leather is alive, the stitching tells a story, and even the scent of the Italian leather has something magical about it.

Every glove is unique. Some customers ask for extra padding around the thumb. Others want a specific “break-in time.” Di Nardo listens. He observes. Only then does he begin. The result is a glove that doesn’t adapt to you—but you adapt to it.

The Price of Craftsmanship

If you’re looking for a quick purchase, you’ve come to the wrong place. A pair of Di Nardo’s can easily cost between €600 and €2,500. But what do you get in return? A masterpiece. A unique product that lasts for years and takes every training session or bout to another level. Di Nardo gloves aren’t fashion. They are investments. In your performance. In your comfort. In your dignity as a fighter.

Di Nardo vs. the Rest

Is a Di Nardo glove better than a Winning, Cleto Reyes, or Grant? The answer is simple: different. Where Winning focuses on protection and comfort, Cleto Reyes on knuckle impact, and Grant on power, Di Nardo focuses on perfection for you personally. He balances every element—padding, support, finishing—and adapts them to your style, your technique, and your rhythm. It’s bespoke craftsmanship, like you only find in Italian suits or Formula 1 steering wheels.

Di Nardo in the Netherlands?

At the moment, Di Nardo gloves are still relatively rare in Dutch gyms. And that makes it all the more exciting when you’re the first. The gloves draw attention, spark questions, and simply give you an edge. Not only physically, but mentally too. Because when you train with Di Nardo, you instantly feel... elite.

Good news for lovers of pure craftsmanship: Fight2Win.nl has joined forces with Filippo Di Nardo. As the only retailer in the Netherlands, we now offer these masterful gloves from his “Worldwide Line” exclusively, in a very limited edition.

No mass production—only class. For enthusiasts. For serious fighters.

Veelgestelde vragen over Di Nardo

Who is Filippo Leccese Di Nardo?

Filippo Leccese Di Nardo is the Italian tailor and leather craftsman behind the boxing glove brand Di Nardo. In his interview with ExpertBoxing, he says he grew up in a family of tailors and started boxing in 2001. In the workshop, he found a way to bring both passions together: making gloves using his experience with patterns, leather and finishing.

In his own historical overview from 2022, he dates his first glove to 2006. After a period under the name Mason’s, he switched to Di Nardo under his own name in 2018.

Where are Di Nardo boxing gloves made?

Di Nardo presents its gloves as handmade in Italy. Both Atelier and Worldwide emphasize Italian craftsmanship. Filippo's background is in tailoring and leatherworking; ExpertBoxing describes him as a craftsman from the Turin area.

Worldwide takes its own approach to that Italian tradition of craftsmanship, offering ready-made gloves made from available batches of cowhide. Atelier offers a more personalized version.

What is the difference between Di Nardo Atelier and Worldwide?

Atelier is Di Nardo's customizable line, with choices of materials, finishes and padding. The manufacturer specifies full-grain calfskin and various training and competition padding options. Worldwide is the ready-made line, made with available batches of mixed cowhide and its own training padding.

The Di Nardo gloves at Fight2Win are part of the Worldwide line. You can choose from the available versions, weights and stock. Atelier's extensive customization options belong to that separate line.

What type of leather does Di Nardo use for the Worldwide Line?

Di Nardo uses mixed cowhide from leftover stock lots for Worldwide. According to the manufacturer, these lots often come from the production stock of major Italian brands, including luxury brands. The available leather types and colors give the Worldwide versions their own character.

According to its product line description, Atelier uses full-grain calfskin. That is a different material choice from Worldwide's mixed lots of cowhide.

How are Di Nardo Worldwide’s color combinations created?

The colour combinations depend on the batches of leather available when Di Nardo makes the Worldwide gloves. The manufacturer describes this as a line without individual customisation. As a result, different versions can have a distinctive look of their own.

At Fight2Win, you can choose from named Worldwide versions such as La Fiamma, La Bestia, Viola Furia, Impattatore and Supremo. Check the photos, weight and available version on the relevant product page.

What type of training is Di Nardo Worldwide designed for?

Di Nardo describes Worldwide as a training line for heavy bag work, pad work and sparren. The line has its own protective training padding for these activities. Choose the weight and version that suit your training; for sparren, your gym's requirements and the condition of the padding also matter.

Use handwraps under your gloves and break in a new pair gradually. This helps you get used to how they feel on your hands during technique work and punch combinations.

What closures does the Di Nardo Worldwide Line have?

The official Worldwide line description mentions both laces and hook-and-loop closures. Laces let you distribute the fastening around the wrist and adjust the tension precisely; hook-and-loop is practical if you put the gloves on and take them off yourself during training.

The available closure depends on the specific version. The product page shows which glove you’re ordering; a Worldwide glove cannot be converted to a different closure on request.

How do you care for Di Nardo leather boxing gloves?

Take the gloves out of your bag after every training session, open the closure and let the inside air out naturally. Wipe the outside with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Use a suitable leather cream only on smooth leather, applying it thinly to care for the outside.

Sprays are for caring for the inside of gloves, not the leather outside. Boxing gloves should not go in the washing machine or dryer or be submerged in water. Let them dry in a well-ventilated place, away from heaters and direct sunlight.
