Twins Special is a well-known Thai brand specializing in high-quality Muay Thai, kickboxing, and boxing equipment, particularly (kick)boxing gloves, pads, and Thai boxing shorts.

Founded in 1992 and tremendous growth

Twins Special was founded in Thailand in 1992 by two brothers.

It has since grown from a small shop in Bangkok into a large factory with more than 500 employees, producing and exporting thousands of boxing gloves worldwide each month.

Twins Special is known for its handmade, high-quality gear, which is popular worldwide among professional boxers, kickboxers, and recreationalists. This is due to its reliability, comfort, protection, and relatively affordable prices.

Made in Thailand

All Twins products are manufactured in Thailand. The parent company, Twins, markets them internationally under various brands and sub-brands. These include the best-known brands Twins Special and King Professional.

Twins Special is famous for its boxing gloves with Velcro closures. These leather boxing gloves are handmade in Thailand, the birthplace of Muay Thai.

For years, Twins models have been among the best-selling and most reliable (kick)boxing gloves in Europe.

They are known for their quality and the high level of protection they provide. The extra padding in the palm is particularly appreciated when kickboxing.

De eerste medewerkers

Twee medewerkers hielpen met het leerwerk. Kleding en leren uitrusting maakten zo allebei deel uit van de eerste onderneming.

Het door Twins uitgegeven jubileumbericht noemt 2 juni 1992 als oprichtingsdatum.

Het bedrijf vierde zijn 21-jarig bestaan met een bijeenkomst in de fabriek.

Where does the name Twins come from?

The name refers to twins in the family behind the brand. In a 2018 family interview with The Cloud, a second-generation family member says his mother came up with the name Twins because she had twins. Which Twins equipment is useful for trainers?

The PML10 and PML21 are punching mitts for punch combinations and precision work. The TKP Thai pads also let you provide targets for kicks and knee strikes. How do you care for Twins gloves and protective gear?

Take your gear out of your bag after training, open up the gloves and let everything air out. Wipe the outside with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Use a suitable leather cream only on smooth leather; wipe synthetic leather carefully and let it dry thoroughly.

Sprays are for caring for the inside of gloves, not the outside. Boxing gloves should not go in the washing machine or dryer or be submerged in water. Let handwraps and ankle guards dry thoroughly before storing them again.
